Role Description
As the Community, Communication & Culture Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the communication strategy for our internal stakeholders while also leading initiatives to strengthen our ties with the broader community. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective internal communication programs and a passion for building meaningful relationships with external partners and community members.
As an expert in internal communication, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives. This will involve collaborating with leadership to ensure that communication is consistently transparent and cascaded throughout the organization, thereby enhancing employee engagement. Your role will require you to leverage your skills in communication, strategy development, and stakeholder management to create a communication plan that fosters a positive and productive work environment. You will also need to be adept in identifying communication gaps and opportunities to improve the effectiveness of communication channels. With your expertise, you can help the organization achieve its goals by ensuring that all employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with the organization's vision.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Communication Strategy:
Develop and lead a comprehensive internal communication strategy that aligns with organizational goals and enhances employee engagement.
Collaborate with leadership to ensure communication is consistent, transparent, and cascaded throughout the organization.
Leadership Partnership:
Partner with organizational leaders to understand business objectives and translate them into impactful internal communication initiatives.
Advise and support leaders in effectively communicating key messages to various employee groups.
Employee Engagement Programs:
Drive the development and execution of employee engagement programs, including benefits communication, wellness initiatives, and team-building activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a cohesive and engaging employee experience.
Employee Participation Groups:
Facilitate the formation and growth of internal employee groups, providing support and guidance to empower them to drive activities aligned with organizational goals.
Serve as a liaison between leadership and employee groups to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Content Creation and Distribution:
Oversee the creation of compelling content for internal communication channels, ensuring consistency in messaging and tone.
To effectively reach and engage employees, utilize various communication platforms, including newsletters, intranet, and social media.
Metrics and Analysis:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of internal communication and employee engagement initiatives.
Analyze data and feedback to refine strategies and continuously enhance communication effectiveness.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in internal communication management, with a minimum of 6 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of community engagement strategies and demonstrated experience in building and maintaining community partnerships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.
Strategic thinker with the ability to align communication initiatives with broader organizational goals.
Proficient in using communication tools and platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
