We’re looking for a VP Delivery to lead our project management office (PMO), overseeing all enterprise implementations and customizations of our SaaS solutions for banks. Reporting to you will be a Project Director and numerous Project Managers, each supporting one or several large-scale projects at a time.

Together with Ascenda’s product team and world-class engineering organization across 4 global locations, you will ensure the rapid and flawless launch of Ascenda SaaS solutions for some of the world’s biggest financial brands. This includes our core rewards back-end and gamification features, personalization engine, proprietary authentication service, internal / external API layers, and white label user interfaces.

Leveraging your own experience balancing agile methods and the realities of large-enterprise environments, you will guide Ascenda teams across functions in harmonizing the internal agile development model with the needs of our bank clients to have predictable, linear delivery schedules.

Through hands-on coaching of your team, direct client interaction and close collaboration with product & engineering leaders, you’ll be instrumental in bringing incredible new customer experiences to life across the globe.

Job Description:

  • Lead the project management office (PMO) encompassing Project Directors, Project Managers and Scrum Masters
  • Drive project management excellence both internally (agile) and externally (hybrid / waterfall) through hands-on coaching, optimization of tools and practices
  • Implement best practice approach in areas such as project governance, reporting and risk management
  • Collaborate closely with Heads of Product and Engineering to enhance team productivity and momentum
  • Work closely with key account leads and senior account directors during project implementation and assist in translating client needs into project deliverables
  • Act as senior point of contact for clients in setting project vision and resolving blockers
  • Evolve Ascenda’s client implementation lifecycle in preparation for the next chapter of growth
  • Create a supportive and engaging environment for your teams
  • Drive the technical talent and resourcing strategy for Ascenda, attracting brilliant new project managers and scrum masters to join our team

Requirements

  • Minimum degree holder
  • 10+ years of experience in technology project management, of which 5 years in leadership roles in modern enterprise software delivery
  • Experience leading other project professionals and delivering complex projects to large-client timelines
  • Strong drive for action and appetite to work hand-in-hand with engineering and product leaders to solve problems
  • Solid people leadership in terms of coaching and supporting employee engagement
  • Strong communication and confident personal presence, with the ability to readily facilitate challenging client discussions at senior level
