Join us as a Rewards Merchant Relationship Manager in Ascenda!
Working hybrid from your home office (UAE) and/or Singapore office, you will support the Partnerships Director in deploying major initiatives with Ascenda’s travel and non-travel content partnerships.
This includes collaboration with Ascenda’s team of internal technical and product teams and liaise directly with partners in the delivery of a seamless and flawless travel booking service, eGift Card product and a growing list of exciting, first to market reward capabilities.

Develop a best-in-class travel solution that will not only serve our current clients but also enable our Business Development team to sell to future clients.
Expand and enhance our non-travel offerings such as eGift cards, digital wallets, crypto, gaming, charity and carbon offsets.
You will be responsible for reviewing pricing and content within the current portfolio and negotiating improved commercials, recommending updates, and improvements based on data and feedback provided.
Supplier/product monitoring ensuring we are delivering the service sold with the SLA’s agreed. Be the first point of contact for the resolution or triaging of incidents when they occur.
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations including client and supplier management, issue resolution and tracking, supporting finance with invoice reconciliation and competitor analysis.
You will work in parallel with Customer Service to ensure that the member journeys are functioning to their optimum and also ensure that the CS team are trained fully with all systems and process related to the available rewards.
You will provide administration support to the Partnership’s and Marketing team in order to develop the business.
Support the development of new products and strategic opportunities, including the creation of new sales narratives and collaboration with Ascenda’s business development teams to attend industry events
At least 5 years of working in the travel sector, ideally with both technical and account management experience.
Exposure to one or several of the following sectors (the more of them, the better!): Travel, rewards and loyalty, financial services, retail and technology.
Exposure to more than one of the following market portfolios (the more of them, the better!):US, Middle East, South East Asia, Australia and Europe.
Flexible and collaborative approach with an ability to thrive in ambiguity while enjoying a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Operational excellence and a creative mind to design new solutions.
Proven ability to establish and manage relationships at the senior level, driving win-win commercial outcomes
Strong drive for action and appetite to create, build and make things happen - ideally with demonstrated project management abilities
A team player that can engage in rigorous debate and drive consensus towards well-informed, expeditious decisions
Curiosity, a good understanding of Gen Z and sense of urgency
