Join us as a Manager, Human Resources-Generalist
Ascenda is currently looking for an experienced Human Resource Generalist to l provide HR business support by managing and implementing HR strategies that are aligned with business goals. You will manage and drive the HR Operational functions within the organization. In this role, you will also assist with the implementation of HR best practices within the organization.
In this role you will be expected to:
Manage the HR Operations including managing new employee orientation, onboarding, employee queries throughout the employee life cycle, and off-boarding processes
Providing the full spectrum of HR support, performance, and employee relations management, and sharing insights to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness, and support in managing key HR processes.
Act as an ambassador for the organization's culture and implement activities to drive employee engagement
Implement HR policies and initiatives and HR best practices across the organization
Manage campus recruitment and internships for the organization including setting up and executing campus engagement programs.
Handle employment passes applications, follow-ups, renewals and cancellations with MOM
Manage and update HR databases with different information such as new hires, terminations, leave days, etc.
Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation
Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts, employment letters, etc.
Support the HR Director in ad-hoc HR tasks
What we are looking for
Minimum 6 years’ experience in related scope and proven experience within HR preferably within a fintech or technology firm or similar
Lead HR Operations and deliver transactional and specialist HR Services
Prior experience in implementing and driving HR projects including writing HR policies
Familiar with employment laws and MOM regulations
Has experience with employment pass application and other MOM processes
Has outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Has excellent organizational and leadership skills
Unwavering ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and maintain professionalism with sensitive information
Excellent MS office skills
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent are preferred
