Join us as a, Human Resource Executive (Contract Role - Maternity Cover)
Ascenda is currently looking for a junior Human Resource generalist to provide HR business support by managing HR operations that are aligned with business goals. You will manage all the day-to-day HR operational matters and drive the HR operational functions within the organization. In this role, you will also assist with the implementation of HR best practices within the organization.
In this role you will be expected to:
Manage the HR operations including managing new employee orientation, onboarding, employee queries throughout the employee life cycle, and off-boarding processes
Assist with the Implementation of HR policies and initiatives and HR best practices across the organization
Provide the full spectrum of HR support, performance, and employee relations management, and support in managing key HR processes.
Act as an ambassador for the organization's culture and implement activities to drive employee engagement
Handle employment pass applications, follow-ups, renewals, cancellations, and other related matters with MOM
Manage and update HR databases with different information such as new hires, terminations, leave days, etc.
Organize, compile, and update company personnel records and documentation
Prepare and/or review HR documents, like employment contracts, employment letters, etc.
Manage campus recruitment and internships for the organization including setting up and executing campus engagement programs.
Support the HR Director in ad-hoc HR tasks
Coordinate office activities and events
Oversee the maintenance of office premises, facilities, and equipment
What we are looking for
Minimum 3-5 years experience in related scope and proven experience within Human Resources, preferably within a fintech or technology firm or similar fast-paced environment
Prior experience in a HR operations function
Familiar with Singapore employment laws and MOM regulations
Experience with employment pass application and other MOM processes
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Great MS Office skills and experience with HR software
Unwavering ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion and maintain professionalism with sensitive information
Exceptional attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
This is a contract role for a maternity cover for a minimum period of 6 months
